Writebox Edits Text Documents in Dropbox

Do you use Dropbox to store text documents, source code, and other plain text files? Need a method to quickly edit them wherever you are without needing to manually download each file and then re-uploading them?

Writebox does exactly that. Simply link it to your Dropbox account and you can edit any text file. The app will automatically sync your changes with your Dropbox account.

What you get is a simple text editor with very few formatting options. The formatting is simply for aesthetics during editing. Since these are text files, no formatting is saved.

The purpose of the app is not formatting, but editing text, so as you start typing, all the toolbars fade away. You’re left with a clean white page to type on. The toolbars reappear when the mouse cursor hovers over the top area.

Text can be reverted and multiple files can be managed through the Revert Text menu.
