UndoClose Opens Recently Closed Folders and Apps with a Hotkey

Ever closed an app or folder accidentally? Browsers have a recently closed tabs list as well as a shortcut key to quickly open recently closed tabs. However, while Windows does provide a Recent Files list, it’s not always easy to access, it’s for files only (not apps), and there are no shortcut keys.

UndoClose for Windows adds hotkeys to open the most recently closed apps and folders and also provides an easy to use list of recently closed apps and folders. It is a portable app so installation is required, but according to the developer, it only works on Windows 7.

By default, the shortcut keys are Ctrl + Alt + F (folder) and Ctrl + Alt + A (app) but these can be changed. Folders and apps can also be opened by double clicking their name on the list.

It can be set to run at startup and then quietly run in the background.
