Do you frequently listen to music using services like YouTube, Google Music, or Pandora? If so, wouldn’t it be great to be able to control the music playback from these sites without actually having to switch to its tab?
If you’re a Google Chrome user, an extension called Music Controller (Chrome Web Store) adds music controls for various popular sites so you can control its music playback right from the browser toolbar. At this time, the extension supports the following services: YouTube, Google Play Music, Pandora, Rdio, Grooveshark, and MOG.

As shown in the screenshot above, Music Controller also integrates with the thumbs up/down feature of services like Google Play Music and Pandora. There is also a mute button at the top which stops all playback activity.
The limitation to this extension is that it can only control services that are open in a tab of the same browser window.
