When was my gmail account created

  • Electromechanicaldissonance

    Does not work.

I know for a fact I created my gmail account somewhere between 2005 and 2007 … anyhow, using the method above, it gives the date 1/8/2010 which happens to be the datestamp on the oldest email still in the system for my account (found it in my sent folder).

I have emails way older than 2008, which is my POP date. This doesn’t work. :(

      Thanks for reporting this.

I tried this and when I go back to POP settings it just says POP in enabled for all email but doesn’t give a date. May have changed since this article was written.

Thanks for reporting this. I can confirm that this date is no longer shown on my Google Apps account, although it’s still there on my normal Gmail account.

Try this alternate method instead: http://www.techairlines.com/google-account-create-date/

Let me know if that works.

That did it. Jan 1st 2008

        Thanks

I created my gmail account sometime in 2007. For some reason I can only retrieve retrieve mail from 2011. Can anyone tell me where the past emails have gone and how can I find them?

Are you accessing your mail from within the Gmail web interface? If so, older emails should be there unless you deleted them. Try searching for a time range without any search terms.

1/21/05 is when mine was created and yes this works for me.
