My comment didn’t show up! It just disappeared after I submit it.
First time commenters are moderated. If it doesn’t show up and you have a previously accepted comment, your email address may be different, you have links within the comment content, or your comment contains content that falls into our comment blacklist (or comment moderation list). Don’t worry. Your comment is likely to show up soon.
If the comment completely disappears, it is likely that it was flagged as spam. We look through our spam queue regularly for false positives, so given that it is a legitimate comment, we will probably accept it.

Your comment is awaiting moderation. A cookie stores the data that you submitted the comment, so you are able to view your submitted comment even though it is not public yet. After we accept it, it will be public.
My comment wasn’t spam. Why wasn’t it published?
We usually do not accept comments that don’t really say anything and seem to be written just for a backlink. Example comments would be “Nice post!” or “Great article! Very helpful!”. Comments like this are often bot spam simply for backlinks.
In addition, we may choose to delete your comment entirely if it contains links to sites that are clearly spammers, scammers, malicious, etc…

We typically do not edit comments. However, in rare cases, if there is something deemed inappropriate, we may edit certain parts, often just links.
We accept all opinionated comments, both positive and negative.

Please use your real name or an alias when commenting. If you use random gibberish or a company name, we will most likely edit it and use any name we like.
What happened to my Website link? Why was it removed?
We remove website links if the site is unsafe for users (malware, spam, or scam), political based, or otherwise not family friendly.
How do I get a custom avatar picture next to my comment?
Sign up for an account at Gravatar, which stands for Globally Recognized Avatar. Avatars are associated with your email address. When you change your Gravatar associated with a particular email address, all comments you published with that email address will have the picture updated. By default, we use an “Identicon” for those without a custom gravatar.
Tech Airlines only displays Gravatars with the rating of G (Suitable for all audiences).
What’s CommentLuv?
CommentLuv allows commenters to have extra link love by adding an extra line to their comment with a link to their latest post. A box appears when a reader hovers over the heart icon where the commenter’s biography, gravatar, and links to more of their blog posts if the email address is associated with a ComLuv account. If no ComLuv account exists or the feed for the user’s site is detected as a Feedburner link (w/ click tracking enabled), the box will show no information.
