Are you someone who can’t get enough of the sound of swarming insects from the World Cup? YouTube, like its parent company Google, loves pranks and obviously couldn’t resist. They have added a new Vuvuzela button just for you.

YouTube's New Vuvuzela Button
The Vuvuzela is a traditional instrument commonly played in South Africa at football (soccer) games, which includes the World Cup 2010, being hosted by South Africa. Fans watching the games have listened to the vuvuzela’s buzzing for days.
Many found the sound so irritating that many television networks have attempted to filter them out and many guides showed up about how to block the noise from their television and computers. Such a guide exists on VideoCrunch (TechCrunch Video). The noise is not blocked by FIFA despite complaints because of the traditional importance of it.
The button doesn’t seem to show up on all videos, but most of the videos I’ve watched so far seem to have them. Here’s an example (Parisian Love – Search Stories).
What do you think of this fun new addition? Leave your thoughts in the comments.
