Do you want to purchase Office 2007 now but realized that Office 2010 would be released soon and you would have spent your money on a copy of Office that is outdated? If this is your situation, you’re in luck because similar to the Windows 7 release, users who purchase a qualifying Office 2007 product between March 5 and September 30 are entitled to a free upgrade to the equivalent Office 2010 product when it is available to the general public.

We covered some of the new features of Office 2010 earlier in our first looks article on the Professional Plus Public Beta, which is still available for download.

Wow. This is real cool.
I agree with Creastery.
Nice way to get Office 10 cheaper
Hi Creastery.
The prices of Office 2010 aren’t released yet, but they’re likely to be the same as Office 2007, or maybe cheaper like what happened with Windows 7. Windows Vista costed more, so buying Vista and then upgrading to 7 for free actually costed more than waiting for 7.
