Ever wanted to comment on Google Chat statuses? Want to share updates, videos, and more right from Gmail? With Google Buzz, now you can.
Google Buzz is Google’s new social product that allows people to share updates, videos, and more as well as make conversations from everything. Similar to Facebook, users can ‘Like’ and ‘Comment’ on all items.
Comment and Like Buzz items, including Public Buzzes, chat status, Google Reader, YouTube, Twitter, Flickr, and more.
Paste the URL of a video such as YouTube and it will embed and can be played inline.

You can connect other sites such as Google Reader shared items, Twitter public tweets, Picasa, and YouTube.

Buzz also gives email notifications. These emails are beyond standard notifications as they are interactive. You can ‘Like’ and ‘Comment’ on items right from the email if you’re reading it in Gmail.

If you find the Buzz emails annoying, simply add a filter for label:buzz to automatically archive the messages.
Buzz also has a special mobile version with geographical information with buzzes about where you are.
