Also Portable Ubuntu comes with too many apps for my taste. If you strip out things like GNOME Games and Evolution and replace OpenOffice with Abiword+Gnumeric then it comes out much smaller, and then you can resize your disk image down.If you like you can strip down the disk image to nothing but the actual executable code and use networking to keep data files on the host system. Of course it could be better, it could have drive sharing and a dynamically expandable disk image like VirtualBox, but I suppose that that&#039;s currently not possible with coLinux.Overall, Portable Ubuntu is a good tool to keep on hand. A lot of the time you don&#039;t have the option to boot from a LiveUSB/CD and this can give you your favorite Linux system in a bind.
