Are you using Adobe Reader? Chances are, the answer is yes. Hmm whats wrong with that? Well since a vast majority of the world uses it, its the most vulnerable to security threats and the number one target for security exploits. In addition, if you noticed, Adobe Reader is a bit slow at times and hogs RAM. Unless you have a high end or at least a fast computer, it will slow you down severely. In addition, its bloated. Worried about keyloggers? What are keyloggers? A keylogger is a type of malicious unwanted software that logs your keystrokes when you type them in. Then these keystrokes are sent to a third party. What information? Anything you type in, including your passwords and credit card numbers. So, how do you protect yourself for free? Do you find it hard getting used to the new large taskbar of Windows 7? Do you dislike the icons with no text? Do you have trouble figuring out which are open windows and which are pinned items? Want the overall looks of Windows Vista’s taskbar back as much as possible without downloading additional software? Are you having trouble looking at several search results or links at once? Do you just need to view some details and text of a web page without having to actaully load everything? If you’re running Firefox or Flock, you can with a little add-on known as Interclue.
Hovering over any link and then the clue icon gives you a text version of the page, the images, a thumbnail (if available), bookmark info, feeds, and more.
